IMPORTANT NOTICE
BEFORE MAKING A RESERVATION PLEASE CAREFULLY REVIEW THE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS OUTLINED BELOW. ANY RESERVATIONS MADE CONSTITUTES A BINDING
AGREEMENT SIGNIFYING YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF, AND YOUR AGREEMENT TO FOLLOW,
THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OUTLINED BELOW, AND TO BE BOUND BY THEM.

NOTE: Glennifer Lake Travel is a tour operator and does not own, manage, control or operate any
aircraft, hotel, resort, cruise ship, restaurant or other supplier associated with the assembly of
your package.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

Reservations:
Deposit or full payment must be received by Glennifer Lake Travel at moment of booking.

Credit card bookings:
Your authorization to use your credit card number for deposit and/or final payment indicates your
compliance with our booking terms and conditions, whether or not you have actually signed the
appropriate draft.

Travel Documents:
Glennifer Lake Travel uses electronic ticketing. Upon receipt of full payment, electronic tickets and
vouchers will be issued between 30 and 14 days prior to departure. For reservations made 14 days or
LESS prior departure, e-tickets and vouchers will be made available within 24 hours of booking.
E-documents must be presented along with proper identification at check-in for departure flight,
return flight, and hotel accommodation. If you do not have a Canadian passport, we recommend you
contact the concerned authorities.

IF YOU CHANGE YOUR RESERVATION:
Name changes are not permitted.
If, after your reservation has been confirmed, you wish to alter the arrangements, the following fee
charges will apply:
• 7 days or more prior to departure date: $250 per person
• 6-0 days prior to departure: 100% of total price of your reservation
The fee charges are in addition to the difference between the initial rate and the new rate plus any
applicable cancellation fees . No refunds will be made if the initial rate is higher than the new rate.

CANCELLATION FEES:
Refunds for cancellation of a reservation will only be taken into consideration once notice is received
in writing at Glennifer Lake Travel’s office. If you cancel your reservation, charges for cancellation
will be as
follows:
Standard Cancellation Policy:
All theatre/show tickets cancelled at any time: 100% non-refundable**
Bookings cancelled greater than 45 days prior to departure: Deposit*
Bookings cancelled from 8 – 44 days prior to departure the following
charges will apply:
• Air Inclusive packages: 25% non-refundable*
• Hotels only: 25% non-refundable*
• Car Rental: No charge
• Excursions/day tours: 20% non-refundable*
All bookings cancelled from 7 – 0 days prior to departure: 100% non refundable**
* Cancellation fees are liquidated damages to compensate Glennifer Lake Travel for prepayments
made on advance booking of travel services, and for administrative costs involved in processing a
cancellation
** Total price due and/or paid to Glennifer Lake Travel.

Cruise:
Terms & Conditions are different.

Insurance:
Glennifer Lake Travel strongly recommends the purchase of ADEQUATE TRAVEL INSURANCE.
PLEASE CONSULT Glennifer Lake Travel for your Holiday Insurance at time of booking, or other
sufficient travellers’ insurance. Government health plans have severely cut back their coverage of
out-of-country medical care, and your vacation isn’t the time to worry about how to pay for
emergency medical treatment. Co-Operators Travel Insurance offers security and peace of mind 24
hours a day, every day of your vacation. Don’t get caught abroad without it. Note: Insurance
premiums are non-refundable and must be paid at time of booking.

Refunds:
No reimbursements or refunds will be issued for unused travel services. Refunds will not be made
for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather or illness; these must be claimed through your
travel insurance. No guarantee is provided or warranted that any refund will be available.

Reporting of incidents: Any abnormal incidents, including injuries, service cancellation or problem, must be reported to
Glennifer Lake Travel and/or your travel host during the event to allow Glennifer Lake Travel an
opportunity to rectify the situation or provide assistance.

Prices:
Prices displayed on this website/brochure are the lowest available at time of printing. Prior to
confirming your reservation, you will be provided with the exact amount of your transaction. Prices
are valid at time of printing. Our intent is to provide you with the vacation you have selected, at the
price in effect at time of booking. If for any reason the price of your vacation increases by more
than 7%, unless the increase results from an increase in taxes, royalties or charges authorized by a
competent public authority, we will offer you the option of cancellation without charge, provided
that you advise us in writing within 7 days of your receipt of notice of the increase. We will then
send a full refund within 14 days of our receipt of your written cancellation.

Currency:
All rates are quoted in Canadian funds, unless otherwise indicated based on exchange rates, fuel
cost, taxes, fees, charges and surcharges (including services charges imposed by Glennifer Lake
Travel) valid at time of posting.

INCLUSIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

Prices DO Include"
Selected combination of flights, accommodation, airport-hotel transfers at destination, taxes and
other fees, most excursions, standard meals (breakfast and supper) and any other inclusions as
specified for product selected as per the resort description at glenniferlaketravel.com, HOME
page, under Tour Highlights.

Prices do NOT include:
Most holiday packages are subject to extra charges above those reflected in the price listed for
each package. Note: any supplementary services purchased at destination ( extra meals, drinks,
cleaning, items listed in the facility description etc.) in addition to any costs incurred en route to
and/or from the destination, extra meals and/or alcoholic beverages (unless specified), extra local
excursions at destination, telephone calls, tips, laundry, items of a personal nature and/or personal
services not specified as being included in association with selected product as per the resort or
tour description on this website/brochure or on glenniferlaketravel.com, are not included in
Glennifer Lake Travel package prices.

If we Modify Your Booking:
Sometimes reserved accommodations become no longer available for reasons such as unexpected
maintenance or over booking. In such cases, substitute accommodation of equal or greater quality
will be provided. If for any reason, after confirmation, a hotel change or other changes occur with
your travel arrangements such as:
• change of departure or return by more than 16 hours;
• change of accommodation standards;
• change of the routing requiring additional travel identification or documentation without sufficient
time to obtain this documentation before departure.
Glennifer Lake Travel will contact you at the earliest convenience upon receipt of notification from
the concerned supplier prior to your departure.
In this case, Glennifer Lake Travel offers the following options:
a. Acceptance of the change as offered;
b. Selection of an alternate hotel based on availability. Any price differential resulting from
substitution with a lower-priced alternative will be refunded. You are responsible for payment of any
difference in price based on substitution of a higher-priced alternative of your choice;
c. Cancellation of your reservation with a full refund of price paid to Glennifer Lake Travel.

LIABILITY OF SUPPLIERS:
Glennifer Lake Travel makes arrangements with third-party suppliers who provide travel services
such as air travel, hotels or other activities included in your package. Although we attempt our best
to deal with the most reputable suppliers, we are not responsible for their acts and omissions.
Travel services are subject to conditions imposed by these third-party suppliers, and their liability
may, in turn, be limited by their tariffs, conditions of carriage as well as international conventions
and arrangements. Conditions of Carriage apply to flights bound to and from your destination, some
of which limit or exclude liability. For air carrier liability and options available to you regarding loss,
damage or delay of your baggage consult klm.com and submit any claims directly to KLM. Glennifer
Lake Travel does not assume any responsibility for schedule changes made by the airline, or any
additional costs (accommodation, meals, etc) incurred due to any flight delays or misconnections.

LIABILITY OF GLENNIFER LAKE TRAVEL:
Glennifer Lake Travel will not assume responsibility for any claims, losses, damages, cost or expenses
arising out of personal injury, accidents or death, loss, damage or delay of baggage or other
property, or delay, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, upset, disappointment, distress or frustration,
whether physical or mental, resulting from any of the following:
• The act or omission of any party other than Glennifer Lake Travel or its employees;
• Sickness, theft, labour disputes, mechanical breakdown, quarantine, government actions, weather
or any force majeure (but not limited to) such as inundation, any type of storm, twister or similar,
fire, seismic activity, nuclear disasters, strikes, riots or civil conflicts, act of war, terrorist actions,
any public health emergencies or health risks, supplier bankruptcy, or any other cause beyond our
direct control;
• Your failure to obtain the documentation required for your trip such as passports, visas and
certificates (in which case you will also not be entitled to any refund);
• Your failure to follow instructions including but not limited to airport departure times, baggage
handling, and check-in and checkout times;
• Cancellation or change for any reason in the travel services offered. We reserve the right to
cancel or change the travel services at our discretion, but we will try to substitute comparable
services. If we must completely cancel your reservation, Glennifer Lake Travel’s liability will be
limited to a refund of all monies paid.
• A full refund, however, will not be honoured in situations where travel must be cancelled by
Glennifer Lake Travel for reasons which are beyond its control (force majeure situations: weather,
riots, etc. ) and where Glennifer Lake Travel’s contractual obligations with its suppliers does not
allow it to obtain reimbursement of the sums paid to the supplier on behalf of the customer.
Living conditions and practices at destination and the standards and conditions there with respect
to the provision of utilities, services and accommodation may differ significantly from those found
in Canada.
All flights are operated by KLM and its Star Alliance partners unless otherwise specified.
Glennifer Lake Travel reserves the right to decline any passenger at any time. Photographs
throughout this website/brochure are representational only and do not guarantee that everything
will be exactly as depicted upon arrival at your destination.
Hotel ratings are based on Glennifer Lake Travel’s interpretation or local regulations within a same
destination and may differ from ratings reported elsewhere.
Medical assistance outside your province may be costly and may not be covered by social medicare
system of Canada.

Written notice or any claim against Glennifer Lake Travel must be addressed as indicated below and
received by our offices no later than fourteen (14) days upon return from your trip. Send notice or
