At Innisfail Boarding Kennels the only thing that counts is the well being of your beloved pet. Our well trained and certified pet care professionals just love to give your dog or dogs the tender loving care while you are away from home.

At Innisfail Boarding Kennels we have the knowledge to take care of your pet(s) in the most professional way. After four years of pet care training we are fully certified by DIBEVO and PCSA (Dutch and American Boarding Kennels Association). This combined with over 25 years of pet boarding experience we know exactly what your dog's needs are.

As a member of DIBEVO and PCSA we acknowledge and accept the serious responsibility involved in the care of your beloved pet(s). Your dog will get a private kennel with a lot of space. He or she will be provided with fresh water all the time, his or hers own food and a blanket or a bed. You are free to bring in your pet's own blanket or toys, but please bring in older stuff, because sometimes blankets and toys get damaged or lost after washing.

	All the kennels have in-floor heating and forced air heating, so it is nice and cozy warm during the cold winter months. In the summer the kennels are nice and cool for our guests, due to the good insulation and ventilation of our buildings.
	For all of our four legged guests there is an outdoor kennel attached to the indoor kennel, so your dog(s) can be outside or inside as much as they like. It is all well enclosed so they have their own private spot. During the warmer summer season your pet(s) can use the indoor and outdoor kennel during daytime and weather permitting up to 11:00 PM.

Every outdoor kennel gives access to our big, well fenced exercise yards. We run our guests at least two times in the morning for 15 to 20 minutes and we give them two to three exercise runs during the afternoon, also for 15 to 20 minutes. If your dog is sociable we try to give him/her some community playtime and have interaction with other boarded guests. During this community playtime one of our pet care professionals is always around as supervisor to ensure your dog's safety.

Of course indoor and outdoor kennels are cleaned daily as well as the yards. We want to provide for a clean and fresh environment, essential to your pet's good health. That is why, every time one of our boarders leaves for home, we thoroughly clean and disinfect his or her kennel, before a next guest is allowed to occupy this kennel again.

It is still of the most importance and for the protection of your pet(s) and other boarders to make sure that your dog(s) has been given all necessary vaccinations. Proof of vaccinations must be provided at time of boarding! (See for more information on vaccinations the VACCINATIONS-web page).

Our facility is monitored day and night by Reliance Protectron alarm system. It will warn us for freezing, fire, glass break and any unusual movement in the dog or cat kennel area or store. We always know exactly what is going on in our kennel, where and when, day and night. We live near the facilities and will be there within a few minutes. We have a veterinarian on call 24/7 in case of an emergency.

For FIRST TIME DOG BOARDERS, that will board that first time more then about four days, we advise you to bring your pet(s) in for a daycare (or test day) before the longer stay in our facility. Your dog(s) can experience how things work during daytime, being in his/her kennel, in and out the yards and being with our staff. The reward of being picked up by you that same day will make your pet(s) feel comfortable staying in our kennels for the longer boarding period.

At our facility we encourage you to bring in the food your pet(s) is accustomed to eating, to minimize stress in this new environment. You can also buy your pet's food in our store before boarding or tell us to open a new package during the boarding stay of your pet. If you would like to have your pet to eat our high end kennel dog food, just let us know and we will provide your dog(s) with that food for only one dollar more per day per pet!!!
